No chickens were harmed in the making of this video. I can't say the same for the apples.
The day before this video, my grandson and I tossed out a half eaten apple and the chickens rN to great him. On this day he called the chickens and they ignored him. I suggested we offer them a treat to get their attention. I grabbed an aging apple from the fridge in the sunroom and broke it up for the chickens. This set in motion something I was not expecting or ready for. The first apple was just the beginning. Someone saw were I got the apples and started helping himself. An apple for the chickens an apple for him, eventually we ran out of apples and he tried to grab a whole ham and a beer. I have a small regret for showing him the refrigerator, but no regrets for what a fun day we had.
