Look at these beauties we discovered in the backyard! After a magnificent storm we ventured outside to see if we could see where the lightning struck. We didn't find it, but I looked under my majestic oak and found a golden ring of chanterelle mushrooms. Chanterelles are delicious mushrooms that have a symbiotic relationship with the trees they grow under. GET OUT!! Anyone who knows me has heard about how much I love this tree and if you know me better, you know I am nuts about symbiotic relationships. Heck, symbiosis is one of my five favorite ”S” words. So now I am out in the drizzle harvesting shrooms.
